Midlands luxury housebuilder Horgan Homes is celebrating after being named as a finalist in two categories for one of the UK’s most prestigious property awards.
The Bromsgrove-based company, which has earned a reputation for creating statement luxury homes in some of the region’s most beautiful locations, is shortlisted twice in the Midlands Props Awards.
Horgan Homes is in the running for both the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) award as well as the sought-after Residential Developer of the Year prize.
Director Sophie Horgan said: “I’m thrilled that the award judges have shortlisted us for not one but two Props.
The awards are an established hallmark of quality, so to be recognised in this way confirms that we are doing business properly.
“I’m especially proud to be shortlisted for the ESG award. We are very aware of our responsibility to look after both our team, our supply chain, the environment and the communities in which we build our homes, and we work very hard to make sure that our work has a positive impact.
“A commitment to energy efficiency, good working practices and social impact is vital to a business which wants to improve people’s lives and environment both now and well into the future.
“It’s great to be recognised alongside so many fabulous housebuilders and other leaders in the property sector and I’m looking forward to the presentation evening later in the year.”
The past year has seen significant developments for Horgan Homes, including the firm’s first large scale project outside the West Midlands at Mareham-Le-Fen in Lincolnshire.
In 2025, Horgan Homes will also be lead contractor for the Gallamore Gardens development near Market Rasen, a development of 72 detached and semi-detached bungalows which will strengthen the company’s reputation for building high-quality, energy-efficient homes for single storey living.
The Props, which is organised by Variety, the children’s charity, recognises and celebrates excellence, innovation, and leadership across the region’s property and investment sectors, from financial services to property developers and architects.
The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham on April 10.
